I came here to pick up some pasta and sauce with some friends while visiting. I wish I had a place like this where I live. I think the owner was there to help us and he was so friendly. You can't go wrong with this place. The pasta and sauce are incredibly fresh and SO GOOD.

There's a large selection of sauces and soups, all of which are gourmet. Prices are also very reasonable for what you get.

This is not a restaurant, but a place to purchase freshly made pasta and soups etc done traditionally by hand

I love this place. Carlos is the best. Always friendly and outgoing. I love his stuffed pastas, lasagna and tomato sauces. He also has some great soups.

Great service and the products are fabulous for the price you pay! Tried the vegetarian lasagna and was very pleased on how much toppings were in it! Great value! Carlo is also very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great local pasta shop. They have a large selection of frozen meals that are delicious. The vegetarian lasagna is amazing.

A midtown gem! Amazing fresh pasta, incredible sauces and soups, and frozen ravioli, tortellini, lasagna, shepherds pie, and so much more. I highly recommend. Plus Carol is kind and knowledgeable. He makes great suggestions for dinner ideas. He is just an awesome guy all around. I can't speak more highly of this store.

Bought some fresh pasta. $8 for 4 servings which I think is pretty good! Also got some pork sausage ravioli which I can't wait to try. Carlo was super friendly and helpful. Also a great location ( right by Davisville Station.

I live downtown and come up here to get pasta. It’s that good. I love going in and asking for fresh linguini and they cut it right there for me! They also have an abundance of great frozen pastas which encourages me to stock up every time I come up. They also have soups. I’ve loved some and thought some were ok. I like that they have no salt added options, as I try to reduce my salt intake. I always pick up a sauce too. They are tasty but I wish they were a bit less watery so that it coats the pasta better.

Don't let the unassuming storefront fool you. This place is the real deal for fresh pasta, and clearly has a lot of regulars. Carlo, the shop owner, is very knowledgeable and friendly. There's three large freezers full of stuffed pastas (with cheese, meat, or fish options), several fridges with fresh homemade soups, and both red and white pasta sauces in different sized jars. Everything was very reasonably priced. Carlo will cut fresh pasta sheets to order, and teach you a thing or two about pasta while you wait. He is clearly passionate about food, and my only regret is not coming here sooner. I'll definitely be back for more!

One of the best food spots in the city, not just Young & Eg. The pasta is fresh, with incredibly tasty sauces and a plethora of frozen but home made meat dishes & ravioli. One of my favourite spots in Toronto. As others have said, the owner is friendly, welcoming & always helpful with a recommendation.

Love this place, come here about once a week. Carlo is a really nice guy, always very helpful. The quality of the products is such a great value and perfect for a 20-something who misses authentic home-cooked italian.
